Byzantium works perfectly, but Crimea, not at all. Then I went to add two more countries at once Byzantium and Crimea. So at this point I have Venice and Balkan working fine and perfect. After a while of checking state files and country stuff, I tweaked some things and it worked - I honestly have no idea what I did tyo get it to work. Can you use wd40 on a garbage disposalĪfter that, the game launched but the area meant to be Balkan was empty, not owned by any country. Next I added Balkan to the game, taking the rest of yugoslavia, romania, bits of czechoslovakia, and bulgaria but this wouldn't work the game simply crashed - I fixed this by palying around with the state files a bit. Venice worked fine from the start as the first country I added, taking up most of Italy's states and a couple of Yugoslavia's. I have added four countries: Venice, Balkan, Byzantium, and Crimea. I am working on a mod for HOI4, I have a little experience of how to do this I like to imagine and roughly know what I'm doing but I've come across a problem I don't udnerstand how to fix.
